It is very important to us that students and families pay nothing for our supports and services. A student and family’s ability to be successful in school and their community should never be determined their ability to pay! We consider our donors as investors. Thank you so much for investing in Family First Advocacy so that we can partner to invest in students with learning, social, emotional, behavioral, mental health challenges, and their families. Together we can do great things!
Our advocacy program includes IEP/504 prep, meeting attendance(s), time with the family, and time in the community. It is the foundation of what we do! Each student and family are unique, which makes it impossible to determine what the cost per student/family is. Because it is the foundation and when students need assistance it often an emergency, that is why we consider this a priority need under the assign your donation tab.
Each in-person class has a 30-person capacity so there is plenty of time for Q&A. The cost includes the IEP Boot Camp training manual.
Each Training & Workshop has a 30-person capacity so there is opportunity interact with others.
A donation of $300 will allow one person to go through our 6-week peer mentor training.
A donation of $1000 will sponsor one Family Leadership Council.
We offer two $3000 scholarship/awards. Any amount of donation will contribute to these scholarship/awards. In the case that more than the $6000 is donated we will generate additional scholarships/awards.
A donation of $360 will provide one person three months of personal coaching.
A donation of $2000 will sponsor one community outreach event.
This is a very important support/service to the sustainability for children with learning, social, emotional, behavioral, mental health challenges, and their families. The space and the staffing are crucial to the success of the program, so we are taking some time to put the program together. The cost for the weekend is an approximated cost. We have a goal of having 1 weekend Respite & Recreation per month.
If your donation is for a special occasion, in honor of or memory of someone, a company gift, or is to be assigned to a specific function of our program... please let us know in the "write us a comment" section of the donation form.
